NeGD Business Analyst Recruitment 2026 Notification, Apply Online Before 17 April

National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Business Analyst. The recruitment is being conducted for project-based work under the Digital India Programme.

There is one vacancy available for the Business Analyst post to be posted at DG Shipping, Mumbai. The position is purely on contractual basis for an initial period of one year, extendable based on project requirements. Eligibility Criteria of NeGD Business Analyst Vacancies

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business analysis or project management for large-scale IT or e-Governance projects.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of requirement gathering and process modelling.
• Exposure to microservices, API integration and enterprise data systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-based or DevSecOps environments.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, MS Project and MS Visio.
• Understanding of data migration, analytics and reporting dashboards.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL data structures.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Awareness of government IT standards and security guidelines.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 55 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Selection Process

The selection process will include:

• Screening of applications based on qualification and experience
• Shortlisting of candidates
• Interview of shortlisted candidates
