NEEPCO Executive Trainee 2025 Notification For Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, And IT Streams

North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) has released its official notification, inviting online applications for Executive Trainee positions in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and IT disciplines. The recruitment offers 30 vacancies across different categories under the E-2 grade, with postings across India.

As per the notification, candidates selected for these posts will receive a pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000 (IDA) with a minimum monthly salary of approximately Rs. 1,00,000. The upper age limit for the posts varies — 30 years for UR/EWS, 33 years for OBC (NCL), and 35 years for SC/ST candidates, calculated as on July 1, 2025. The selection will be based solely on the marks obtained in GATE 2025. No group discussion or personal interview will be conducted.

Executive Trainee (Electrical/Mechanical) – 18 posts
Executive Trainee (Civil) – 10 posts
Executive Trainee (IT) – 2 posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Executive Trainee (Electrical/Mechanical), applicants must have a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechanical & Automation Engineering with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST) and a valid GATE 2025 score in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
For Executive Trainee (Civil), a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) and a valid GATE 2025 score in Civil Engineering is required.
For Executive Trainee (IT), candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology with 65% marks (55% for SC) and a valid GATE 2025 score in Computer Science (CS).

How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the above eligibility conditions can apply online through the NEEPCO career portal at www.neepco.co.in. No other mode of submission will be accepted. Candidates should ensure all documents and GATE 2025 details are correctly entered before submission.

Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 560 through SBI ePay. SC, ST, PwBD, ESM, and female candidates are exempted from paying the fee. The payment once made is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based solely on GATE 2025 scores. A merit list will be prepared for eligible candidates as per marks obtained in GATE 2025, and offers of appointment will be issued in order of merit. No interview or group discussion will be held.
