NC’s Showkat Mir meets scores of delegations

Srinagar, Feb 28: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, Kashmir Provincial President Showkat Mir Saturday met scores of delegations at the party’s headquarters. The meetings were held at Nawa-e-Subha to engage with party functionaries, local leaders, civil society representatives and to listen to their concerns and aspirations.4

During the interactions, various delegations apprised Mir of issues affecting their respective regions, including matters related to development, governance, public welfare and community interests. Mir listened attentively to each delegation and assured them that their concerns would be taken up seriously with the appropriate authorities and within the party’s organisational framework, said a press release.

Mir emphasised the importance of maintaining open and continuous dialogue between party leadership and grassroots workers to strengthen party unity and responsiveness. He reiterated the party’s commitment to actively address public issues and support effective governance across Kashmir. Mir also appreciated the dedication of party members and volunteers for their work on the ground, and encouraged them to continue serving the people with zeal and commitment. He underlined the role of such engagements in fostering stronger connections with the public and ensuring that the party remains attuned to the needs of the people.
