National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has issued the official notification for 173 Non Teaching posts. Candidates with 10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, Graduate and Post Graduate qualifications are eligible as per post requirement.

The online application process starts on 27-12-2025 and closes on 16-01-2026. Candidates must apply online through the NCERT website ncert.nic.in before the last date. Selection will be through CBT, written test, skill test and interview.

Eligibility Criteria of NCERT Non Teaching Vacancies 2026

The minimum and maximum age limit is 18 to 50 years, as per post category. Educational qualifications differ for each post. The major posts and essential qualifications are listed below.

Salary Structure

The pay levels range from Level 2 (Rs. 19900–63200) to Level 12 (Rs. 78800–209200) depending on the post, as per 7th CPC.

Age Limit

Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 50 years, as per post.
