NC District President Srinagar, Block Presidents term J&K Budget people-friendly

Srinagar, Feb 7: A meeting of all Block Presidents and Block Secretaries from the eight constituencies of District Srinagar was held at the party headquarters Nawa e Subha.

The meeting was chaired by District President Peer Afaq Ahmad and witnessed active participation from senior party functionaries and grassroots representatives, as per a press release.

The participants unanimously welcomed the budget presented by the Omar Abdullah–led government, describing it as people-friendly, progressive and inclusive. They observed that the budget reflects a sincere commitment towards public welfare, development, and economic stability, particularly benefiting common citizens and marginalized sections of society, it added

During the meeting, party matters and key organizational issues were discussed in detail, with special emphasis on strengthening the party structure at the grassroots level. The participants deliberated extensively on the hardships and day-to-day problems being faced by the people of the district and stressed the need for effective outreach to address public concerns in a timely manner. While addressing the gathering, Afaq urged party workers to remain closely connected with the people, strengthen organizational discipline, and work collectively to further the party’s vision and policies at the grassroots level.
