Narco Smuggler Held, Heroin Worth 50 Lakh Seized in Jammu

SRINAGAR: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday said that a joint operation led to the arrest of a narco smuggler and the recovery of heroin worth Rs 50 lakh in Jammu.

BSF Jammu said, “On 22 August 2025, based on specific intelligence provided by BSF Jammu, a joint search operation was launched by BSF Jammu and NCB Jammu, during which one narco smuggler was apprehended and heroin worth Rs 50 lakh was recovered from Miran Sahib, Jammu.”

Further investigation into the case has been taken up by the concerned authorities. [KNT]
