A total of 162 vacancies are announced for Development Assistant and Development Assistant (Hindi) posts across various states and regional offices.

Eligibility Criteria of NABARD Development Assistant Vacancies

Development Assistant	Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Knowledge of word processing on PC is required.	21 to 35 years
Development Assistant (Hindi)	Bachelor’s Degree in English or Hindi medium with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects with minimum 50% marks. Translation ability required.	21 to 35 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PWBD, Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories as per rules.

Salary Details

The pay scale for Development Assistant is Rs. 20,700 – 55,700. The initial monthly gross salary is approximately Rs. 46,500 including allowances. Other benefits include DA, HRA, transport allowance, medical facilities, pension scheme and promotion opportunities.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of three stages. The preliminary examination is qualifying in nature. Candidates who qualify will appear for the main examination. Shortlisted candidates will then undergo a Language Proficiency Test. Final selection will be based on marks obtained in the main examination only.
