MP Mian Altaf condemn attack on JKNC president Dr Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, Mar 12: National Conference MP Mian Altaf Ahmad on Thursday condemned the attack on Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah in Jammu late Wednesday night.

Mian Altaf said it is relieving to know that Dr Farooq sb and others accompanying him including the Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary and Nasir Aslam Wani escape unhurt and are safe.

In a statement issued, MP Mian Altaf expressed shock and concern over the attempt on Dr Farooq Abdullah and sought a probe in the incident.

“Strongly condemn & deeply concerned about an attempt on Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sb’s life at a wedding in Jammu. Relieved to know that, Dr Sb & others accompanying him are safe. A serious matter needs to be investigated” he said.

Mian Altaf said that the incident needs a probe and measures should be taken so that such incidents doesn’t happen again.
