Jammu, Aug 27: The Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ) has been accredited as a Khelo India Talent Development Centre by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS), marking a significant step toward nurturing young shooting talent in the Union Territory.
As per a statement issued, this accreditation positions MOSAJ as one of the leading platforms in Jammu & Kashmir dedicated to nurturing young shooting talent and elevating the sports ecosystem of the region. Founder Patron of the J&K Rifle Association (JKRA) and Former DGP J&K, Dilbag Singh, extended his warm congratulations, praising the academy’s consistent efforts in promoting shooting sports and building a strong base for future champions from the Union Territory.
Speaking on the occasion, President of JKRA, SS Sodhi, congratulated coaches Vishal Mehra and Aman Singh and said, “This recognition under the Khelo India scheme will unlock new pathways of growth and opportunity for the aspiring shooters of Jammu & Kashmir.
It strengthens our resolve to provide world-class training and facilities to our youth. I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, LG, the Chief Minister, the Sports Minister, the J&K Sports Council and all supporters of shooting sports in the UT for their constant encouragement and guidance.
