Minister Javid Dar Lays Foundation of Rs 70 Lakh Playfield in North Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Javid Ahmad Dar, Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, on Friday laid the foundation stone for the development of a Rs 70 lakh playfield at Nagbal, Ladoora, Rafiabad, Baramulla in north kashmir.

Executed by the JK Sports Council, the project aims to strengthen sports infrastructure and provide modern facilities for aspiring athletes. The Minister emphasised that the development of playfields will create avenues for local youth to engage in structured sports activities and announced plans to establish additional playgrounds across the constituency.

Dar also inspected ongoing development works in Rafiabad, directing officials to ensure timely completion with strict adherence to quality standards. Senior officers from the Youth Services and Sports Department and local representatives attended the event.
