MHA Honours Jammu Kashmir SDRF Commandant with DG’s Gold Disc for Exemplary Service | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has conferred the prestigious Director General’s Gold Disc and Commendation Certificate upon Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Masroor Ahmed Mir, Commandant 1st Battalion, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Srinagar, for his exemplary service and outstanding leadership in disaster management and civil protection.

The honour was announced during the 63rd Annual Day of Civil Defence and Home Guards, observed in New Delhi. SDRF personnel from across the country were recognised for distinguished service in the fields of fire safety, civil defence and home guards.

Officials, said the award acknowledged SSP Mir’s significant contributions to strengthening SDRF’s operational preparedness, quick response and rescue capabilities in Jammu and Kashmir. (KNO)
