Mega Tiranga Rally Paints Lalpora in Colours of Patriotism – Alfaaz – The Words

Kupwara: Lalpora town came alive today with a vibrant display of patriotism as a Mega Tiranga Rally was organised under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to mark the 79th Independence Day celebrations.

The event, led by Tehsildar Lalpora Dr. Masroor Ghayas, the Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Lalpora Imtiyaz Farooq, and the Station House Officer of Lalpora Showkat Ali Darzi, Principal AGS Krusan Masroor Ahmad, aimed to inspire national pride and unity among the people.

The rally drew an overwhelming response, with hundreds of students, teachers, lumberdars, chowkidars, and locals marching together. Commencing from the Government Higher Secondary School Lalpora, the procession made its way through the town’s bustling market streets, attracting widespread attention from residents and passers-by. Educational institutions, civil society members, and officials from various government departments joined hands to make the event a resounding success.

Addressing the gathering, the officials emphasised the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, calling on citizens to hoist the national flag atop their homes from August 13 to 15 as a tribute to the nation’s journey of freedom. They lauded the energetic participation of the youth, describing them as the torchbearers of India’s future.

The rally concluded on a solemn yet uplifting note with the collective singing of the national anthem, reaffirming a shared commitment to the ideals of freedom, unity, and integrity. The event stood as a testament to the seamless cooperation between the local administration, police, schools, and the community, and to Lalpora’s enduring patriotic spirit.
