
SRINAGAR: The District Administration Ganderbal has issued an advisory warning of a possible avalanche threat in the district over the next 24 hours.
According to the forecast, a medium-level avalanche risk is likely above 2,400 metres, prompting authorities to urge heightened caution.
People have been advised to avoid vulnerable areas, including higher reaches, snow-covered slopes and hilly terrain, until further review. Residents, tourists and nomadic communities have been asked to strictly follow official guidelines to prevent any incidents.
