Eligibility Criteria of MEA Consultant Vacancy

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be a lawyer with a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Law (LLB or LLM) from a recognized institution in India or abroad with specialization in drafting legislation.

Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting and amendment of legislative and policy matters.

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked as legal researchers or have experience related to administration issues.

Age Limit: The candidate must be between 30 to 50 years as on the last date of submission of application.

Other Requirements: Candidates must have excellent writing skills in English and Hindi languages.

Desirable Qualifications: Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary Details

The remuneration will depend on the experience and profile of the selected candidate. The engagement is purely contractual and will not provide benefits such as PF, pension, gratuity or other service benefits.
