Man Stabbed in Central Kashmir, Hospitalized

SRINAGAR: A 22-year-old man from Budgam was brought to JVC Hospital in Bemina, Srinagar, after allegedly being stabbed with a sharp-edged object in Wadwan, Budgam.

​Official sources said that the injured man was first taken to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Soibugh before being referred to JVC Hospital.

He sustained an injury to his right leg. Sources said that the victim, a resident of Soibugh, was allegedly stabbed by a person he knew.

​Cognizance has been taken and further investigation has been initiated into the matter. Further details are awaited. (KNC)
