Man Dies, Another Injured After Tractor Accident in Jammu Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: One person was killed while another sustained injuries after a tractor met with an accident near GPS School, close to the Kalakote Rajouri Bus Stand, on Sunday evening.

Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the accident occurred earlier this evening. Two persons, identified as Vinnay Kumar (23), son of Rattan Lal, a resident of Upper Kalakote, and Neeraj Kumar (22), son of Mohinder Paul, a resident of Kalakote, were injured in the mishap.

Both the injured were immediately provided medical assistance and were referred to the Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri for advanced treatment. However, Vinnay Kumar succumbed to his injuries and was declared brought dead at GMC Rajouri.

Meanwhile, the other injured, Neeraj Kumar, is undergoing treatment at GMC Rajouri, where his condition is stated to be stable.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation has been initiated. (KNC)
