Man Detained for Stunt Biking in North Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district have arrested an individual in connection with a stunt biking incident that recently went viral on social media.

The suspect, identified as Shahid Assad Dar of Puthar Kreeri, was filmed performing hazardous motorcycle stunts in a video that surfaced yesterday. Authorities have registered a case against him under Sections 184 and 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act, and the motorcycle involved has been seized.

The operation was carried out by Police Station Gulmarg under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg and SHO PS Gulmarg, as part of the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s ongoing campaign to promote road safety and enforce traffic regulations.

Police have urged the public to report reckless driving and have reiterated their commitment to strict action against traffic violations.
