LG Sinha Reviews Zojila Avalanche Rescue Operations, Orders Full Relief Support to Affected Families | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday reviewed the ongoing rescue and relief operations following the tragic avalanche at Zojila in Ganderbal district, which resulted in loss of lives and injuries.

The Lieutenant Governor spoke to senior officials and took stock of the situation on the ground, directing authorities to ensure the safety of stranded persons and provide all possible assistance to those affected by the disaster.

Expressing grief over the incident, Sinha extended condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

“Deeply pained by the loss of precious lives due to the tragic avalanche at Zojila. My heart goes out to the bereaved families in this hour of grief. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured,” the Lieutenant Governor said.
