LG Sinha Hands Appointment Letter to Slain Inspector’s Wife Under Rehab Scheme | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday handed over an appointment letter to Alka Sharma, the widow of martyred Sub-Inspector Deepak Sharma, under the JK Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme, 2022.

An official spokesperson informed that the Lt Governor assured all possible assistance and support to the bereaved family.

Sharma, a braveheart of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in 2024 while fighting and neutralizing a most-wanted gangster in Kathua district, officials added. (KNS)
