SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday visited Purmandal to attend the foundation day of the Purmandal Utterbehni Teerth Seva Nyas, where he reaffirmed his commitment to developing the Purmandal–Utterbehni corridor into a world-class spiritual destination.

The LG said the government is working with a clear vision to promote sustainable and culturally enriched religious tourism in the region.

“We are committed to transforming Purmandal–Utterbehni into a globally recognised spiritual destination that reflects the rich heritage and devotion of our people,” he said.

Emphasising the foundation of progress in Jammu and Kashmir, LG Sinha underscored that the journey toward Aatma-Nirbhar JK is built upon the dedication and sacrifices of security personnel, farmers, youth, and women.

“We are building the edifice of self-reliant Jammu Kashmir on the sacrifices of our police personnel, soldiers, farmers, youth, and women. Today, we must pledge not to let their hard work go in vain. It is our collective responsibility to turn their dreams into reality,” he added. (KINS)
