LG Convenes J&K Legislative Assembly Session in Srinagar on October 23 – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has officially summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to convene its next session in Srinagar.

As per a notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat, the session will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

“I, Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, in exercise of powers under Section 18(1) of the J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019, do hereby summon the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to meet at Srinagar on Thursday, the 23rd October, 2025 at 10.00 AM,” reads the notification.

All members of the assembly have been directed to ensure their presence in accordance with Rule 3 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business of the Assembly.
