Legislative Assembly Meetings Postponed Amid Bad Weather in Jammu Kashmir

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly has postponed all scheduled meetings of House, in view of the prevailing inclement weather and flood-like situation across the Union Territory.

According to an official circular issued by the Secretary Legislative Assembly, all meetings of Committees, Financial Committees, and other Committees till September 5, 2025 has been postponed.

The decision was taken as the administration is fully engaged in tackling the emergent situation arising out of the adverse weather conditions.

“All concerned are requested to take note of the above directions,” the circular added, stating that the postponement has been ordered by the Hon’ble Speaker.
