
Srinagar, Feb 27: J&K BJP spokesperson Dr Abhijeet Jasrotia has criticised PDP President Mehbooba Mufti and NC MP Aga Ruhullah, stating that those whose political influence is limited should not attempt to lecture the nation on matters of foreign policy.
Dr Abhijeet Jasrotia, accompanied by Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, State Media Incharge, J&K BJP was talking to the media persons, at the party headquarters at Jammu, as per a press release.
Dr Jasrotia asserted that India’s foreign policy remains consistent, principled, and guided by humanitarian values for all nations alike. He highlighted that India has repeatedly demonstrated global responsibility, from being among the first to send humanitarian aid and medical supplies to Palestine, to extending prompt assistance to Turkey during the devastating earthquake crisis. He further pointed out India’s developmental cooperation abroad, including infrastructure projects such as port development in Iran, and sustained support to Afghanistan and other countries in times of need. “Wherever there is a humanitarian crisis, India stands ready to help,” he said.
He also underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long-standing position against terrorism, recalling his defiant stand in Lal Chowk even before becoming Prime Minister. His resolve has never changed, terrorists and their supporters will not be spared, he said. Dr Jasrotia emphasized that India’s global outlook is rooted in the civilizational ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, viewing the world as one family. He added that India’s humanitarian approach extends equally to all nations, including Israel, Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and others, reflecting what he described as “true statesmanship.”
