Last Date For Online Applications Extended Up To 15 January 2026

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a notice regarding the extension of the last date for submission of online application forms for various Gazetted posts at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, Srinagar under the Health and Medical Education Department.

These posts were earlier notified through Notification No. 14-PSC (DR-P) of 2025 dated 26 November 2025. As per the latest notice, the application deadline has now been extended.

All other eligibility terms and conditions remain unchanged. Candidates who have not yet applied now have additional time to submit their online applications.

The cutoff date for determining eligibility criteria will continue to remain 28 December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Below is a summary of the eligibility conditions.

• Assistant Nursing Superintendent: M Sc Nursing with two years of experience in the profession excluding training.
• Junior Research Officer: M Sc Physics in Radiation Technology or Medical Physics or Radiological Physics or Bio Physics.
• Resident Medical Officer: MBBS along with Rotatory Internship and State or Central Registration with two years of work in a teaching hospital.
• Senior Research Officer: M Sc Medical Physics or M Sc Physics with a diploma in Radiological Physics.
• Assistant Material Management Officer: MBA or a graduate qualification with diploma in material management or inventory control with five years of supervisory experience in relevant work.
• Casualty Medical Officer: MBBS with Rotatory Internship and State or Central Registration with three years of service as Resident or Medical Officer in emergency medicine or surgery.

The age limits as on first January two thousand twenty five are explained in the notification. For the open merit category the maximum age is forty years. For reserved categories the maximum age is forty three years. For physically challenged candidates the maximum age is forty two years. The birth date ranges corresponding to each age limit are mentioned in the notification.

Applicants can apply online through the official website of JKPSC. After completing the one time registration, candidates must fill in all required fields of the online application form and upload the necessary documents. Once all details are submitted, candidates can preview the application and then submit it. Applications must be complete in all respects before final submission.
