Ladakh Admin Orders Transfers, Postings of Officers | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The administration of Ladakh on Tuesday ordered a series of transfers and postings of officers in the interest of administrative functioning.

As per Order No. 139-LA (GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department Ladakh, Sachin Bali (JKAS) has been appointed as Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, Leh, and will also hold additional charge as Assistant Director Handloom, Leh.

Sumera Shafi (JKAS) and Deachen Chondol (JKAS) have been posted as Under Secretaries in the Lt Governor’s Secretariat, while Tundup Namgail has been designated as Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Secretary.

In addition, Huma Khan (JKAS) has been posted as Under Secretary in the School Education, Higher Education, Youth Services and Sports and Hospitality and Protocol departments. Mohd Shabir has been appointed as Tehsildar Kharu with additional charge of Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kharu.

The order stated that all officers stand relieved with immediate effect and have been directed to assume their new roles without delay.
