Ladakh Admin Orders Transfer of Private Secretaries | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has ordered the transfer and posting of several Private Secretaries with immediate effect in the interest of administration, according to an official order issued by the General Administration Department.

As per Order No. 278-LA (GAD) of 2026 dated June 5, 2026, Padma Yangchan, Private Secretary in the Office of the Secretary, School Education Department, has been transferred and posted to the Regional Transport Office, Ladakh.

Mohammad Hussain, who was serving in the Office of the Chief Secretary at the UT Secretariat in Leh, has been posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) with the Commissioner/Secretary, Revenue Department.

Meanwhile, Shabir Hussain has been transferred from the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, Leh, and posted to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer-cum-Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.

The order also stated that Jigmet Angchuk, JKAS, shall stand relieved of his duties as OSD with the Commissioner/Secretary, Revenue Department with immediate effect.
