Kulliyat-e-Janbaz presented to LOP Sunil Sharma in Jammu

Jammu, Mar 11: A copy of Kulliyat-e-Janbaz, a comprehensive collection of poems by the distinguished poet of Kishtwar known by his poetic name Janbaz, Ghulam Nabi Doolwal was presented to Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition (J&K) and MLA from the Padder-Nagseni Assembly Constituency, by Zubair Doolwal, son of Jaanbaz Doolwal, at his residence in Jammu today.

The presentation took place in the presence of several respected citizens from Kishtwar who had gathered on the occasion to pay tribute to the literary legacy of the late poet.

Kulliyat-e-Janbaz is a compilation of the poetic works of Janbaz, who was widely admired as a highly reputed poet, composer and singer from Kishtwar. Through his poetry and musical compositions, Janbaz earned immense love and respect from people across the region and beyond. His writings reflected deep human values, harmony and a strong spirit of secularism, making him a beloved figure among people of different communities.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Sharma appreciated the literary contribution of Janbaz and said that such works are an important part of the cultural and intellectual heritage of the region. He remarked that Janbaz’s literary work captured the emotions, struggles and cultural ethos of the people. His poetry, rich in meaning and expression, continues to inspire literary enthusiasts and admirers throughout the Union Territory.
