KPDCL Schedules Power Shutdown in Srinagar Areas | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Power supply to several areas of Srinagar will be suspended for 90 minutes on February 28, due to a scheduled shutdown of key transmission lines, according to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL).

The utility said the shutdown of the 33 kV Badamibagh and Pampore BK Pora lines will take place from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. As a result, electricity supply will be affected in Lasjan, Sonwar, BK Pora, Khanda, Summerbugh, Railway, TRC, Silver Star, Ujala Hospital, PHE and Pantha Chowk.

KPDCL advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements in advance to minimise inconvenience during the outage.
