KPDCL Schedules Power Shutdown in Several Areas | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer Distribution, KPDCL, has announced a scheduled shutdown of the 132/33 kV GIS Khanyar, which will impact power supply to multiple areas of Srinagar.

According to the notice, electricity supply to Industrial Estate-BAMK, Raja Colony, Nowshera, Zadibal, Hawal, Botakadal, BSNL, Gil Kadal, Kathi Darwaza, Rainawari, Psychiatric Hospital, PHE, Central Jail, Saida Kadal, and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on April 12 and 13, 2026.

The shutdown is being carried out as part of necessary maintenance works. Residents and consumers in the affected areas have been advised to make necessary arrangements in advance.
