KPDCL Notifies Power Shutdown Schedule in Kashmir Parts – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Saturday notified power shutdown schedule for different parts and areas in Kashmir Valley.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to facilitate execution of the work, twining of conductor from 100 Sq mm to 2×100 Sq mm over 33 KV Handwara Old line and branch cutting of trees along Machil Tap line, shutdown of 33KV Handwara old line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Zachaldara, Audoora, Changimulla shall remain off while power supply to Zachaldara, Wadipora, Wadder, Changmulla, Adoora, Hanga, Haril, Lach and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 24 & 27 September, 2025.

Also in this connection, shutdown of 33 KV Machil Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Machil shall remain off while power supply to Machil, Chountipora, Dapal, Ring Bala and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 25 & 27 September, 2025.

Moreover to facilitate LILO work of Receiving Station GMC Baramulla, shutdown of 33 KV Baramulla 1st line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Baramulla-I, Kanlibagh, GMC Baramulla shall remain off while power supply to Short Delina, DIC, New DIC, Old Army, Main Bazar, Ushkara, PHE, Sangri, Microwave, Kanlibagh, GMC and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 21 September, 2025.

Similarly, in order to carry out the works of rising height of Double Circuit 33 KV Pampore-BK Pora, 33 KV Pampore Chadoora line at Pahroo Bypass Chowk and Lasjan Bypass, shutdown of 33KV Pampore-BK Pora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at BK Pora, Khanda & Summerbugh shall remain off while power supply to BK Pora, Khanda, Checkpora, Chattergam, Kenihama, Summerbugh, Wagoora, Aribagh, Chackpora and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on 21 September, 2025.

Likewise, to carry out the work of fixation of channels of 33 KV Arizal Tap line, shutdown of 33KV Ahmadpora Arizal Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Arizal shall remain off while power supply to Arizal, Zanigam, Raiyar, Doodhpathri and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 23 & 25 September, 2025.

Further to carry out Upgradation/ stabilization of 33 KV Alasteng Nagbal line, shutdown of 33KV Alasteng Nagbal line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Alasteng, Nagbal, Gadoora, Tulbagh shall remain off while power supply to Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fatehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Shairpathri and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 24 & 27 September, 2025.

Besides in this connection, shutdown of 33KV Alasteng Zakura line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Gulabagh, Ahmadnagar, Umarhair shall remain off while power supply to Pandach, Pathan Colony, Gulab Bagh, Mir Mohalla, Umarhair, Nowbugh, Ahmad Nagar, 90ft Road, Khalmulla and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 24 & 27 September, 2025.
