KPDCL Issues Schedule for Maintenance-Linked Outages in Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across multiple parts of the Valley in the coming days, citing maintenance and upgradation works on various 33 KV lines.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, the 33 KV Shariefabad–Narbal line will remain shut on December 06 from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM, affecting Narbal, Kawoosa, Mazhama, Sozeith, Sanoor, Lawaypora, Malpora, Radbugh, Railway Station Mazhama and adjoining localities.

Similarly, the K-Koot tap of the Sangam-II line will be shut on November 30 from 10.30 PM to 03.30 PM, disrupting power supply to Siamoh, K-Koot, Kaiagam, Hariparigam, LIS Tral and nearby areas.

KPDCL has also notified outages on November 30 from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on the 33 KV Pampore–SIDCO line and the 33 KV Pampore line, affecting IE Khrew, cement plants in the area, Pampore, Khadermoh, Zewan, Tengan, EDI and adjoining locations.

The 33 KV Tral-I line from the Noorpora tap will remain shut on December 04 from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM, resulting in outages in Tral, Divar, Pinglish, Dadasara, Chandrigam, Mandoora, Kahlil, Bajwani and nearby habitations.

Additionally, shutdowns on the 33 KV tapline of the Tral-I line from Nowdal will be observed on December 08 and December 11 from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM, affecting Trali Payeen, Pinglish, Divar, Chewa, Tral Bala, Kahlil, Bajwani and adjoining villages.

KPDCL has further announced a shutdown of the 33 KV Seelu tap line on November 29 from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM, impacting Seelu, Bomai, Brath, Shangergund and surrounding areas.
