Kia Carens Clavis launched At Rs 11.50 Lakh in India: Features & design

Srinagar, May 23: Kia has officially introduced the Carens Clavis in India, with prices starting at Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Bearing the Carens nameplate, the Clavis arrives with a refreshed design, upgraded interiors, and an enhanced feature set. The starting price is Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings started on May 9 through Kia’s website and showrooms.

Engine and Power Options

The Carens Clavis comes with three engine choices:

1.5L turbo petrol: 157 hp and 253 Nm of torque

1.5L normal petrol: 113 hp and 143.8 Nm

1.5L diesel: 113 hp and 250 Nm

Exterior Design

The Clavis has a fresh design with:

LED headlights in a new triangular setup, V-shaped LED DRLs, Blacked-out front grille, Silver skid plates and black body cladding for a rugged look Dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles, and silver roof rails with a full-width LED strip at the back.

Interior and Features

Inside, the Carens Clavis is packed with features:

22.62-inch dual screen setup (10.25-inch digital instrument cluster + 10.25-inch touchscreen), Ventilated front seats, New AC vents and controls, Panoramic sunroof, Four-way power-adjustable driver seat, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and 8-speaker Bose sound system.

Safety

It offers Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS Level 2) with 20 safety features, including:

6 airbags (standard), Electronic parking brake with auto-hold, 360-degree camera, Front & rear parking sensors, Lane keep assist, Smart cruise control, Blind spot warning.
