Srinagar: In a major development in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack case, Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested an individual accused of providing logistical support to the assailants, NDTV reported on Wednesday.
The accused identified as Mohammad Kataria, as per the report, was apprehended following forensic analysis of weapons and equipment seized during Operation Mahadev in July. The operation had led to the elimination of three attackers, in Srinagar outskirts, responsible for the killing of 26 civilians at Baisaran Valley, a well-known tourist destination near Pahalgam.
The officials have maintained that the arrest marks a crucial breakthrough in unravelling the support network behind the attack.
