Srinagar, Jul 8: Kashmir Society International organised a conference on renaissance, national security and civil responsibility here today.
According to a press release Dr Geeta Singh Director Delhi University, Khwaja Farooq Renzushah chairman Kashmir Society International and Prof G N War addressed the gathering.
Dr Geeta Singh in her speech praised Kashmir as an abode of spirituality, renaissance, unity and knowledge. She said the entire country is proud of Kashmir. She said that the sacrifice of Adil Shah during Pahalgam terror attack has opened a new chapter of the element of sacrifice.
Geeta Singh said in Kashmir saints of Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam all have played vital role in ensuring renaissance and unity still known for its composite Sharda culture. She said Sharda was first University of spiritual learning in Kashmir.
