Kashmir: 51-Year-Old Woman Found Dead After Suspected Poisoning | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A middle-aged woman died under mysterious circumstances in the Soper area of Kulgam district on Sunday.

Officials said that a woman aged around 51 years suddenly fell unconscious after allegedly consuming some poisonous substance at her residence.

She was initially rushed to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment and was later referred to GMC Anantnag for advanced medical care. However, upon arrival, doctors at GMC Anantnag declared her brought dead, they said.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated proceedings to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the death, they added. (KNC)
