Karra leads Congress delegation to cloudburst hit Paddar

Jammu, Aug 17: JKPCC President Tariq Hameed led a high level team of Senior Congress leaders to the cloudburst devastated Chasoti – Paddar area of Kishtwar district today and demanded a special central package for adequate relief and rehabilitation of the affected people.

He shared the pain and sufferings and concern of the people lauded the local population and volunteers for working shoulder to shoulder in the rescue and relief measures and extending all possible help and aid to the victims.

Expressing grave shock and concern over the magnitude of the tragedy, Karra said that only a special central package for providing adequate relief and rehabilitation is needed.He demanded thatGOI should work out with UT administration on war footing for the proper relief and rehabilitation of the affected people.
