
Jammu, Dec 17: JKPCC president Tariq Hameed Karra Wednesday congratulated Brijesh Kumar Sharma, son of Kapoor Chand Sharma from Dandial, Udhampur, on his notable achievement of being selected by Rajasthan Royals for the Indian Premier League worth Rs 30 lakh.
“This historic milestone is a source of immense pride not only for Brijesh Sharma and his family, whose father works as a labourer and his mother manages the household, but also for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir at large,” Karra said, in a press statement.
He said, “Brijesh’s dedication, discipline, and perseverance have paid off, demonstrating that talent from our region can shine on the biggest national and international stages. Raised in a modest household with limited resources but boundless determination, he pursued his passion tirelessly.”
Karra wished Brijesh Sharma great success in the IPL and his cricketing career ahead.
He added, “May he continue to excel, motivate countless young aspirants, and bring honour to Jammu and Kashmir and the nation.”
