Kanwal FC defeats FC Ganderbal 1-0 in Srinagar Premier Division League

Srinagar, Sep 15: Kanwal FC secured a narrow 1-0 victory over FC Ganderbal in the Srinagar Premier Division Football League on Monday at Polo Ground.

As per a statement, from the very first whistle, under the ‘My Youth My Pride’ initiative, both teams showcased high-intensity football, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats. FC Ganderbal’s defensive unit stood tall for most of the match, but a decisive moment in the second half turned the game in Kanwal FC’s favour, sealing their much-needed three points.

While Kanwal FC celebrated their hard-fought win, FC Ganderbal earned admiration for their spirited display and refusal to give up until the final whistle.

The league, organised by DFA Srinagar under the initiative of Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council – My Youth My Pride, continues to provide a strong platform for local clubs to compete and inspire the next generation of footballers.
