JPDCL Schedules Power Shutdowns in Multiple Areas | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power outages across multiple areas of the city on February 20 and 21 due to maintenance work.

According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), Jammu, electricity to Receiving Station Basant Garh will be suspended on February 20 from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Similarly, residents of Trilokpur, Talab Tillo, Seora, Gajansoo, and adjoining localities will face interruptions on the same day from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

On February 21, power supply to Receiving Station Dhar Road, Sangoor (MES), Cherry Sail, and nearby areas will be affected from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Residents of Dogra Hall, Rehari, Reshan Ghar, Bus Stand, Jewel, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazar, Kaleeth Mohalla, Kanak Mandi, Manda, New Plot, Sarwal, parts of Karan Nagar, and surrounding areas will experience outages from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Additional interruptions on February 21, will affect Rajinder Nagar, Paloura, EWS Colony, Roopnagar, PHE Feeder, Lower Muthi, and adjoining areas from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Meanwhile, power to Main Bazaar, Ward Numbers 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Taraf Sanji, Jarai, Bhagthali, Bhagthali Industry, and neighbouring localities will be suspended on 20 February from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

JPDCL has urged residents to plan accordingly and apologised for the inconvenience caused during the maintenance work.
