JPDCL Schedules Power Shutdown in Several Areas | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Development Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power outages in several areas of Kathua district next week.

According to the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL, OM Circle Kathua, electricity supply to Mawa, Rehain, Gurah and surrounding areas will be suspended on February 19 and 21 from 8 am to 1 pm.

Power to Raika-II and nearby localities will be affected on February 21 from 8 am to 1 pm, while Surara and adjoining areas will experience outages on February 19 and 22 from 8 am to 12 noon.

Electricity supply to Nud and neighbouring areas is scheduled to be disrupted on February 19 and 21 from 8 am to 12 noon. Old Vijaypur, Vijaypur Industry, and surrounding localities will face power suspension on February 20 from 8 am to 12 noon.

Similarly, supply to Chichi Mata Mandir, PHE City, and adjacent areas will remain affected on February 22 from 8 am to 12 noon, while Sansoo, Mansar, and ITBP areas will experience outages on 19 February from 9 am to 3 pm.

Officials advised residents and businesses to plan accordingly and exercise caution during the scheduled outages.
