JPDCL Schedules Power Outages | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power outages affecting multiple areas across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days, officials said.

Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL, Jammu, stated that Shahzadpur, Marh, Gajansoo, Ghomanhasa, and surrounding areas will experience a power cut on October 9 from 6.30 am to 2 pm. Additionally, Jakhlote, Bakhta, Chainpura, Palli, Nagri, Barwal, Logate Industries, IIDC Govindsar, Logate Industry, Sahar, Kumri, and MES Janglote will face interruptions on the same day from 8 am to 12 noon.

Premnagar, Thathri, Dhara, Gandoh, Changa, Bhatyas, Bhaderwah town and adjoining areas are scheduled for outages on October 9 from 9 am to 5 pm. Nanan, Barnoti, Channi, Marheen, Paharpur, Rajbagh, Chandwan, and Harichak will be affected on October 11 between 10 am and 4 pm, while Lower Gadigarh, Dharap, Indranagar, Sudan Heart Care, Airport, and Airforce Station will face cuts on the same day from 9 am to 1 pm.

Furthermore, Dogra Hall, Rehari, Resham Ghar Colony, parts of Channi Himmat, Malik Market, Upper Chowadi, Matto Colony, Bus Stand, Jewel, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazar, Kaleeth Mohalla, Kanak Mandi, Manda, New Plot, Sarwal, parts of Karan Nagar, and surrounding areas will experience power disruption on October 12 from 10 am to 2 pm.

Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL OM Circle, Kathua, informed that Meen and adjacent areas will be without power on October 8 from 6 am to 1 pm. Badhori and surrounding areas will face outages on October 9 from 6 am to 1 pm, and Sanura, Taloor, and nearby areas will be affected on the same day from 7 am to 12 noon.

JPDCL urged residents and businesses to make necessary arrangements and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused due to the scheduled maintenance work.
