JPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Outages

SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL Jammu, has announced multiple scheduled power shutdowns across Jammu and Kathua districts to facilitate maintenance and ensure uninterrupted electricity supply in the long term.

Power supply to Kathua, Billawar, Mahanpur, SEWA HEP, Samba, Ghatti, Hiranagar, Industrial Area Traction, Railway Supply Manwal, Jhandi, Chadwal, Chal, Dayalachack, and Pranjal will be affected on October 26, from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Similarly, Upper Baranai, Lower Muthi, Paloura, JK Colony, Chandan Vihar, PHE Roop Nagar, MES, Rajouri Lines, Patoli, BSF, Talab Tillo, Hajuri Bagh, Anand Vihar, and adjoining areas will experience power suspension on October 27, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Shahzadpur, Marh, Gajansoo, Gho-Manhasan, and nearby areas will face outages on October 27 and 29 from 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Gujjar Nagar, Peer Mitha, Peer Khoo, Circular Road, Mast Garh, Dalpatian Mohalla, Julaka Mohalla, and surrounding areas will be without power on October 26, from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Budhi, Nanan, Marheen, Channi, Paharpur, Rajbagh, Chandwan, Haria Chak, Main Bazaar, Wards 4, 5, 8, 9, Taraf Sanji, Jarai, Dhanna, Thein, Jami, Bhagthali, Jail, Chiripal, Jupitor, Bloomtex Industries, Parlivand, and adjoining areas will remain without electricity on October 26 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Chanderkote, Peerah, Sewni, and Rajgarh will face power cuts on October 26 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while Industrial Estate Battal Ballian and Airforce Station will be affected from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM the same day.

Partial power supply to Udhampur Town will be affected on October 28 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Jewel, Krishna Nagar, Warehouse, PHE Company Bagh, CM House, and adjoining areas will remain without power on October 26 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while Seora and surrounding areas will face outages on October 26 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Parts of Rajouri and Poonch districts will experience daily power cuts from October 28 to November 2 from 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Gandoh, Changa, Bhatyas, and adjoining areas will be without electricity on October 27 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Residents and businesses have been advised to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions to protect electrical appliances during the scheduled outages.
