JPDCL Announces Power Shutdown in Multiple Areas | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Power supply to several areas in Jammu will remain disrupted on December 16 due to scheduled maintenance work, officials of the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) said on Monday.

According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL Jammu, electricity supply to Hatli, Maroli, Mehtabpur, Khanyara, Dhukkat, Sawala and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9 am to 5 pm on Tuesday.

The shutdown has been planned to facilitate essential repair and maintenance work on the distribution network to ensure the safety and reliability of power infrastructure, the official said.

Consumers in the affected areas have been advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to minimise inconvenience during the outage period.

JPDCL officials said normal power supply will be restored immediately after the completion of the scheduled works.
