Journalist Sajid Raina Bereaved

SRINAGAR: Misra Begum, 45, wife of Bashir Ahmad Malik of Gundpora Bandipora, passed away on Tuesday. She was laid to rest at the Aswrtal Graveyard in Gundpora. The deceased is survived by three daughters and a son.

The deceased was the aunt of journalist Sajid Raina. She was battling cancer for the past two years and died at SKIMS Soura.

Meanwhile, several religious and political leaders offered their condolences and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

“Our condolences are with the bereaved family. May the departed soul rest in peace, and may the family find strength and patience in this difficult time,” said Bandipora MLA Nizamuddin Bhat.
