JKSSB Important Instructions for Various New Posts

This notice from the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) provides instructions for submitting online application forms for 61 posts in the Home Department, as advertised in Notification No. 06 of 2025 on July 22, 2025

Key Dates for Application Submission and Fee Payment:

Start Date: August 4, 2025 (12:00 AM) 

End Date: September 2, 2025 (11:59 PM)

Application Process:

Applications must be submitted online via the JKSSB website (www.jkssb.nic.in). No other method of application will be accepted

Candidates need to register on the portal by clicking ‘Log-in (Apply on Various Posts)

A valid e-mail ID and mobile number are required for registration, and an OTP-based verification will be used for activation

After registration, candidates must complete their One-Time Registration (OTR) form before applying for advertised posts by clicking on ‘Active Advertisement’ and then ‘Apply

All information in the application form must be filled carefully and correctly, as it cannot be edited after final submission. Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the details provided.

Required documents to upload include:

A recent, clear passport-size photograph with a white background (Max size 20-50 KB,

cm)

A clear signature (Max size 10-20 KB,

cm)

A valid and genuine Category Certificate (Max size 100 KB in PDF format.

Application fees must be paid online via Net banking, Debit Card, UPI, or Credit Card. An application will not be considered if the fee is not paid. Candidates should verify the fee status as ‘Submitted’ on their dashboard.

No hard copy of the application form is required to be submitted, except by shortlisted candidates at the Document Verification (DV) stage. In-service candidates must submit a printout of the online form with a duly filled, signed, and stamped certificate through the proper channel.

Candidates are advised to submit applications well before the closing date to avoid last-minute issues.
