JKPSC MO 2025 Notification Out For 37 Posts In J&K Department Of Ayush

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the official notification for the post of Medical Officers (Ayurvedic and Homeopathy) under advertisement no. 08-PSC (DR-P) of 2025. A total of 37 vacancies are available for eligible domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

As per the notification, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic or Homeopathy medicine along with valid registration and internship completion. The upper age limit is 40 years for general candidates and up to 43 years for reserved categories as on 01 January 2025.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official JKPSC website www.jkpsc.nic.in. The application window opens on 15 July 2025 and will close on 4 August 2025. A written examination will be conducted on 19 October 2025 as part of the selection process.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Medical Officer (Ayurvedic), candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic medicine. For Medical Officer (Homeopathy), a Bachelor’s degree in Homeopathy is required. Internship completion and valid registration certificates are mandatory for both categories. Only candidates who are domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply.

The upper age limit is 40 years for general category candidates and 43 years for reserved categories, calculated as on 01 January 2025.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply through the JKPSC official portal www.jkpsc.nic.in from 15 July to 4 August 2025.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹1200 for General Category, ₹700 for Reserved Categories, and no fee for PHC candidates. The payment must be made online.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of a written examination followed by document verification. Only those who qualify the written test will be called for the verification of original documents.
