According to an official notification issued by the Commission, candidates who appeared in the preliminary examination held on December 7, 2025, and whose roll numbers figure in Annexure A of the notification have qualified for admission to the Combined Competitive Mains Examination 2025.
The notification states that all qualified candidates are required to apply afresh through online mode for the mains examination. The Commission said a separate detailed notification regarding the application process and schedule for the mains examination will be issued in due course.
JKPSC clarified that the candidature of all candidates declared successful in the preliminary examination is purely provisional. Their eligibility will be subject to verification of original documents and certificates related to age, educational qualifications, category, and disability, wherever applicable, at subsequent stages of the selection process, including the mains examination and viva voce.
The Commission further stated that in case of any discrepancy found at any stage regarding eligibility conditions, the candidature of the concerned candidate will be cancelled ab initio.
Candidates have been advised to check their results only through the official JKPSC website (https://jkpsc.nic.in/). The result is also subject to the outcome of any writ petition pending before a competent court of law.
