Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has invited online applications for the posts of Assistant Legal Remembrancer and District Litigation Officer in the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. A total of 3 vacancies have been announced under Advertisement No. 10-PSC (DR-P) of 2025. Applications are open for candidates domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

According to the notification, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university in India along with at least two years of actual practice at the bar. Vacancy Details:
This recruitment drive aims to fill 3 vacancies of Assistant Legal Remembrancer and District Litigation Officer. Out of the total, 2 posts are for Open Merit and 1 post is reserved for SC category.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University established by law in India. They must also possess at least two years of actual practice at the bar certified by the concerned District and Sessions Judge. The prescribed maximum age limit is 40 years for Open Merit and in-service candidates, and 43 years for SC category candidates as on 1 January 2025. The minimum age is 18 years.
