JKPCC Jammu Jobs Advertisement for empanelment of Chartered Engineer / Chartered Institute for Third Party Certification.

Empanelment of Chartered Engineer / Institute

Jammu and Kashmir Pollution Control Committee intends to empanel Chartered Engineer/Institute for preparation/verification/certification of environmental data and submission of applications for all category of industries and development activities for the purpose of obtaining consent to establish and consent to operate and renewal thereof under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Environment (Protection), Act, 1986 and the Rules made thereunder, as per details given below:

Qualification and Experience for Chartered Engineer

Degree in Environmental Engineering or a Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Environmental Engineering as an elective subject awarded by the recognized University or Institute in India; or,

A Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology awarded by a recognized University or Institute in India; or,

Master’s/Doctorate in Natural Sciences/Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry /Chemistry/Biotechnology awarded by a recognized University or Institute in India;

AND

Having at least 10 years practical experience in the field of environmental pollution control for the candidates having Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Master’s Degree in Science Branches and 05 Years for the candidates having Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Doctorate Degree in Science Branches.

Qualification and Experience for Chartered Institute

The Chartered Institute team must have at least 4 members having either of the individual qualifications as below:

Degree in Environmental Engineering or a Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Environmental Engineering as an elective subject awarded by a recognized University or Institute in India; or,

Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology awarded by a recognized University or Institute in India; or,

Masters/Doctorate in Natural Sciences/Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Chemistry/Biotechnology awarded by a recognized University or Institute in India;

AND

Having an experience of at least 10 years in the field of environmental pollution control / research & development / teaching environment related subjects for the candidates having Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Master’s Degree in science branches and 05 Years for the candidates having Master’s Degree in Engineering /Technology /Doctorate Degree in Science Branches.

The Qualification(s) mentioned above must have been obtained by the Candidate through Regular mode of education.

The institute should have an experience of at least 5 years in the field of environmental pollution control/research & development/ teaching environment related subjects.

The Chartered Engineer / Institute shall charge service charges from the industries / projects as per rates prescribed by the Board. The term of the Chartered Engineer / Institute will be for a period of two years, which may be further extended from time to time after assessing the performance of Chartered Engineer / Institute. The details of the policy of the Committee regarding empanelment of Chartered Engineer / Institute along with the application form are available on J&K Pollution Control Committee’s website i.e. https://jkpcb.jk.gov.in.

This empanelment is a continuous process.

The Empanelment Committee shall consider all applications received during quarter in the second week of the next quarter for assessment of eligibility.

The selection committee reserve the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning the reason.
