SRINAGAR: Approximately 83.27 percent of students have passed the Class 11 examination, with the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) expected to announce the results at around 11:30 AM today.

According to official figures, 81,573 students from Kashmir and the winter zones of Jammu appeared for the exams, of whom 67,932 students have successfully qualified.

“The result will be declared around 11:30 AM today,” JKBOSE Chairman Ghulam Hassan Sheikh told Greater Kashmir.

For the examinations, JKBOSE had set up 760 centres, including 574 in Kashmir and 186 in Jammu.

Last year, the board had implemented a 15 percent syllabus reduction for Class 10, 11, and 12 students in their annual exams due to academic disruptions caused by war-like situations, prolonged heat waves, and recent flood-like conditions that led to school closures.

Earlier, the JKBOSE had declared the results of the Class 10 and 12 examinations on January 14.
